Baked Fresh for You!
I’m Deric, known as Wei. My baking journey began in 2010 after completing a Patisserie & Baking course. I started working in the café where I trained, then joined Choux Café, where I was mentored by the late Chef Emmanuel Mollois. Under his guidance, my passion for pastries truly grew.
I had the privilege of travelling to Paris with him to explore bistros and cafés, gaining firsthand experience of classic European food culture. In 2013, I was appointed Head Pastry Chef at Bistro des Artistes.
As life shifted and my family grew, I stepped back from commercial kitchens. Whisked the Right Wei is my return to pastry—handcrafted desserts made from scratch, honouring my mentor’s recipes with my own personal touch.
